Mounir el-Motassadeq

Mounir el-Motassadeq belonged to the so-called “Hamburg cell”, along with Mohammad Atta and Marwan al-Shehhi, two of the pilots hijacking the planes.

el-Motassadeq was sentenced to 15 years in prison in Germany for complicity in the terror attack on September 11, 2001.
